flipping through an old copy of MMFF, i ran across Dugan Racings 95 vert reskin of an 99-04 body.. which got me thinkin? is it possible to put 99-04 body parts on a sn platform? read somthin like 90 percent of the parts will bolt up. w/ the exception of the wing, side skirts, amybe a few others..
can anybody voulche for this?

i can get an 01 cobra bumper, jus want to know how much massaging is gonna be needed to make it fit the Sn95 front end.

jus lookin for somthing different than the typical saleen, steeda, cervinis cobra, front end.

Check out this thread from yesterday. The pic is an SN95 with the 99 on up Saleen front and rear bumpers. I think they look pretty out of place personally just too damn big. But it looks like it is very possible.

are you talking about a hole conversion to make you car look like a 99-04? or just different body parts?

they make the 99-04 saleen kits and the 00 Cobra R bumper for 94-98. i personally dont like them too much tho, but to each his own.

thats not 99+ body parts on that website. Thats a bumper made for our cars, that looks like a newer one. See how it fits up with the hood, headlights etc? all that is different on the newer bodys. You would have to do a Complete front end body swap, meaning fenders, hood, headlights, front bumper, headlight bracket, and prolly more. peace

I don't think the lines are the same and will not line up. I do believe they will bolt up, basicly the same car. The only way to put on rear fenders, quarter panels would be to weld them up, lots of labor.

The car he is refering to is a car that dugan racing built from two seperate totaled stangs. One New Edge and the other SN-95...they grafted the New Body on the the 95 and drop a 351 in it. It was a drop top so the roof didn't have to be swapped. Alot of fab I'm sure. Cheaper to buy a totaled 94-95 with working drivetrain and harness, and throw it at a Body In White...

well if u wanted to lets say make a 94 look like a 99+, its easy... well if you know wut ur doing.

the roof stays the same, absolutely no diff in the rood design.

Yoiu will need 2 fenders, headlight panel, headlights, bumper, support, hood, 2 doors, 2 1/4 skins, decklid, rear bumper, support.

WE HAVE A WINNER!....the 99+ cars are still on the SN95 chassis...its probably fairly "easy to swap to 99+ body panels as long as you can get them all...and as said the roof is the same.
