i own a 2001 mustang v6 and for the past two years the convertible top won't work except on rare occasions.
playing around with it i noticed that when i applied the parking break it didn't register on my dash *the light didn't show up saying my parking break was on* and the top wouldn't work. on rare occasions it would show up on the dash and i found the top worked perfectly.
i have a feeling it's something electrical but i none of the manuals i have for fixing the damn car even mention convertible let along get into the electrical system that i would have to check for to get the top to work.
anyone know what exactly i would have to go after? i really don't want to take it back into the shop for the 3rd time just for this little thing >.<
i can get into the center console i just don't know what to look for after that
