Hey guys, first post and not completely sure if this is in the right spot.. BUT, was wondering if any of y'all had any insight on this one.. I came into a free 5.3 out of a '13 GMC Sierra right around the time my 4.3 stroker 6 s*** the bed. Got the 5.3 sitting happily in the car with a Team Z tubular K member, but I can't seem to get my T5 to bolt up.. I am using a QuickTime RM-6037 bell housing with a Lakewood pilot bearing (pn 15975,) a combo that seems to have worked for a few others.. Problem I'm having is that when I go to stab the trans, there is a good 1/2- 5/8" between the engine and bell housing, and the input shaft is bottomed out fully in the bearing. Am I missing something??? Thanks in advance

I'm gonna say welcome to stangnet, and add that this likely is not the right place for advice on a LS swapped sn95. I don't hang around the sn95 crowd and maybe someone here has some experience with it. Is so they may chime in but don't be surprised when you get crickets.
BTW what did the T5 come out of?
