We have owned the car since early April...at 76,000 miles. PO had many new parts installed at Ford dealer per receipts in the past year.
02 GT vert, 5 speed, 78,000 miles....new plugs, cop's, new filters, new battery, alt checks good. Mpg is normal, 17-22 based on roads, no idiot lights, gauges all normal, no codes read at local parts store.
Car parks inside and is driven maybe weekly or a bit less. Just a fun car, not daily. Starts fine after not being driven for a week. Starts fine if I stop to grab a cold drink and go again. Drive to breakfast and when we get ready to leave in an hour or so, it turns over great but fails to fire immediately like normal. When it does fire, it kind of stumbles as if a low idle speed but picks up soon and runs fine. Idle is fine when diving. This was not noticed when we purchased the car.
The one issue with the car is the fuel gauge drops faster than the fuel used....at the 1/2 tank level it takes 5 gal to fill it....at empty, it takes the full 14-15 gals. Not concerned with repairing that now.
