Does anyone out there know if the cobra folding side mirrors can be purchased in black? Actually what i mean is do they look like the grainy plastic black ones on a gt. Thanks

They come from Ford unpainted. Like a flat black primer color.

I do not think that is true. They come from Ford in any of the available Cobra colors. Maybe I am wrong, but when I got mine they were already painted. Also, the black base of the Cobra mirrors is ready for paint -- not like the rough grainy black surface on the GT mirrors. They look very sweet with them fully painted including the base (I had them painted for $30 ... a body shop did me a favor with the cheap-o price).

I paid $75 for each mirror from an auto retailer that was liquidating inventory on eBay. I think Ford's price is over $200 a mirror (not at all 100% sure on that though).
