I still think that Dave is selling his current car short. With his mods his car is easily capable of running mid 12s.

Get that 60' time from a 2.2 down to even a 1.9 and you've picked up .6 seconds.

I put a bid on a ZINC YELLOW (haha Ed) '03 Cobra on eBay. I have no expectation of getting it, however, because I know the reserve price (about $31k) and I didn't bid anywhere *near* that. Just bid on it for kicks. As long as Thomason has their reserve price over 30k for that car, it'll *never* sell...

Im with ya there. And his brother is running on the strip with far more power adn a T5 too... so I cant think of any excuses.

If he had only 4 lugs, I'd be glad to loan him some slicks, but he has one of those cars that is so heavy it requires 5 from the factory

but I digress... Paul .. Paul ..Paul.. I realize it takes some form of talent to be such an Azzhole. I would think you would put it to better use (other than diss'in peoples rides and collecting pron) maybe you could join the "how to be a better marine" think tank.. hehe oxymoron there ...

Or maybe you could just fck off .. either way ..you can toss insults at my ride .. just know you could never own it ..

Yeah that's not invoice (coupe invoice is $30,839 + whatever mystichrome pkg is). Let me guess you were at Thomason??
Have you seen if you are eligible for x-plan pricing through your work? Alot of companies have employee discounts program that might include Ford (mine does).

Just for ****s I sent an email off to the x-plan guy and he gave the thumbs up on x-plan price with the powerlease.

I'm positive a break from SN is probably in order, just to get some oxygen to my brain... hahaha

I'm just sick of putting a lot of work into the 95 for so little gain. I'm a wee bit jealous of the folks that buy a new Cobra, slap a K&N and cat-back on it, and promptly run better times than me with all the mods I have. When do I get to join the fun? Hmmm? It kinda sucks to put a lot of effort into something only to have it disappoint.

On the flip side, Yellow1995Cobra (not local) has been letting me know just how cool his new turbo sounds... And he says it's scary fast. Of course, he also blew a HG within a week of putting it on...

just buy will's turbo kit and be done with it.

90% of all head gaskets are tuning issues though, so you may want to get a pro tune to start with instead of the tWEAKer.

*tWEAKer*?? I'm hurt! (not). Haha, that's good though, I'll have to remember it...

As for the HG, yes, Jesse blew his HG because of a tuning problem. He bumped the pressure on his 42's to 50 psi and ran the BTM at 3, and thought that would keep him safe until the dyno tune. Turns out it somehow managed to run lean, and he burnt through three firerings and the plugs were snow white... whoops.
