why do you have to open the glove box to change a song?? All controls for the PAC unit are done through the head unit.

This is definitely a great development. It may have prevented me from replacing my HU. Does this also work with the factory NAV systems?

Hah...I just bought my alpine 9883 for the same reason. i would have waited and tried this since I didn't need to change the head unit. now that i did, i'm happy. i got a killer deal anyway. i'm happy that others will be able to use it.

Anyone know anything about the Advanced Trip Tunes? It's been out for months and I still can't get any straight answers.
Will it work with your ipod and allow you to retain factory satellite radio? Anyone actually using the thing?
