Not sure I understand. Are you saying all that is a good thing? What would I do with a rolling parts catalog that I can't drive on the street? To me, a purpose built race car is worth less than an equally built street car. We can split hairs about what makes a car a race car or not streetable, but to me I'll take a car that isn't so rare that I'd be afraid to break it over a priceless irreplaceable garage ornament.

It has a VIN, you can drive it on the street. It's a dream list, what are you worried about wrecking it for? Only #26, as it was later named, has no VIN. It also has some other important differences, some which were made public information and some of which were not. I was remarking all the people who are naming cars that have thousands or even tens of thousands of build numbers on dream lists.

I just mean my version of a dream car isn't something that could never be replaced. I guess that's weird but the fact that it's ultra limited means I wouldn't be able to fully enjoy it. It would be like taking a Ferrari 250 GTO out road racing every weekend...you just don't do that. My dream car is going to be essentially what I could build myself with unlimited income, not something Ford or some tuner built.
