10sec 'Vert'

I'm building my 1990 5.0 AOD 'vert' to run hi 10s - 1/4s.
So far I've gutted the car - no stereo, no backseats, nothing in the trunk, fiberglass trunklid, no top - plan on custom speedster cover, no console,etc.
Plan on more weight reduction/distribution incl.: deleting a/c, ps, pb. relocating battery to trunk, tubular k-member, alum radiator, electric h20 pump.
cai,unequal shorty headers and offroad x-pipe with flowmasters
2.73s r getting swapped for 4.30s
AOD is getting swapped for C4 w/ transbrake
Traction: putting DOT Drag Radials on Turbine Wheels, traction bars
right now i have a tire frier.

am I on the right track?
any other suggestions to help me reach my goal?

I'm going to have a top custom fitted to the car(similar to the Shelby Cobra) to put on to go to a track like Englishtown(NJ) but i know some tracks around here that I can got to as long as I have a rollbar. I'm having a 8pt Roll Cage installed sometime in late June.

I'm probably gonna do heads, cam, intake, tb, maf; I also have a 306 in my basement and if that's still not enough I'll spray.
