I'm installing a Raptor Shift Light and finally have everything installed. The only part remaining is splicing in the wires. The only one giving me trouble is the 12v power connection. I need to find a 12v switched wire to tap into, but it needs to be in the engine compartment. I know there are a million options under the dash, but in my case I need to find a connection in the engine bay. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

The last time I needed a 12v switched source under the hood, I ran a seperate wire from the fuse panel through the firewall to the front of the engine bay.

switched power is switched power, why do you need it from the engine bay for your application?

there are a couple (existing) in the engine area that you can "add a fuse" plus a couple of spare in the passenger panel. Remind me if you don't get a pic and more info from me. I am on the road on business - be home late today so it may be tomorrow.

If you go from the passenger area, there is already a pass through from the passenger footwell to the engine compmartment. No drilling needed.
