I would go with option 1, had the same set up on my 93 and it ran like a beast. How many miles does your short block have?

Go with #3 and whip up on someone with #1 who can't hook.

I still say an option #1 will make you take a #2. (not to be confused with option #2)

decisions, decisions-kinda reminds me of the pic of the kid looking at all the ice cream flavors with this really determined look on his face and his finger poised on the corner of his mouth

...however, the more i modify my 'stang the more i agree with NC85, then when your next $1800 comes along, then you can choose another option that suits your desires, by which time, there will be about 5 more options, then you'll pull more hair out figuring out what to do with it...lol

think of what you want your car to do realistically, and go from there

how about option #4...supercharger. a basic kit could be purchased with that price. but, later you would end up buying options 1-3. it is a never ending saga.

My TFS head swap is costing me about $1800... funny how all the 'little' stuff adds up: Comp Pro Magnum RR's, Fel Pro Gaskets, sealants, ARP head bolts, SA porting kit yadda yadda yadda... I love it but its a money pit

I'd go with option #3. Why get so much power when you cant hook and use it(#1). #3 will set u up.

yeah the suspension is tempting. it helps everyday driving and launching a ton. but then again number 1 will make everyday driving more fun. while number 2 will make it safer to bang gears and run drag radials. wow my head hurts

Agreed 100%, I have a built rear, 31 splines, 4.10s, auburn diff, upper/lower ca's and I rip on so many cars that have more HP than me but cant hook for ****.

And about option 2, my trans just blew and I ordered TKO 600 along with some other stuff that came out to 2400, and then motor mounts and line lock which brings everything to 2700$

Traction is part of the game, theres no from a roll lanes at the track.

Race from a dig or no race at all.
