just finnished this 66 coupe for a budy of mine, he paid $700
for it. it was a verry nice 66 6 cylinder total finnished price
$4000. including purchase price, 89 fuelinjected 5.0 ,aod,9 ",
69 front disks, palimino pony interior, the hood and side scoops are
stang-aholics, not sure what the wheels are
paint is centari with clear ,the color is a gm. color but it looks great
perfect for the color combo

thanks i used all factory pieces it was so easy i cant believe it
the hardest part was trimming off the coupe parts, once you peel off the roof
skin the windshield frame looks the same as the convert.just needed trimming .the rear seat structure just sets right in place.so does the seat box, went with new inner rockers and under floor boxes . and added new torque boxes as well planning a 67 next

not sure were to get the best cowl hood for 65-66 ,dont think stang -aholics
makes a cowl hood for 5 or 6, i know they have one for 67-68 i have used one and
it was very nice ,there 65-66 shelby style hood is realy nice, i have used them
on my last ten cars ,i have no complaints .nice fit before and after paint and the
side scoops were practicly bolt on ,you may contact them its possible they have
just the scoop.the 67 hood scoop is about 2 3/4 " rise and cleared my torker and
holly combo

nice thing is you did it right - I was glad to hear about inner rockers, torque boxes, and underseat pan. there is also an extra stiffener in rear of trunk where tail light panel ties to. Looks like gaps all line up nice. Rims are nice. What did you do for the drip rail that runs accross the back of where convertible tops is - keeps water out of the trunk?

used the origional one from the wrecked convert. i did the trunk brace
as well. it was mostly front end dammage on the convert so all the structure
was intact and in very good condition, had pics but due to a pc. crash lost
most of them, bad thing about didgital camaras should have printed them
as well, or put them on a cd. another learning experiance
