In 1966 the V8 Mustangs were outselling the 6-cylinder model. In order to give the six a nice sales boost, Ford offered a special Sprint 200 option package.

Appreciate the article. Have had mine for about 15 years, but looking for some pics of other owners cars trying to correct a few flaws on mine. Not that it is show quality, but have some time to clean it up a bit. All though I see the car in the article doesn't have the spoked wheel covers which I thought were on the Sprints. Fortunately I have both sets and swap out from time to time. Thanks again
So looking for some guidance and thank you to those who responded to my losing the &;$;@/& keys to my 66. Have had several stangs pass through the stable through the years but this was my last. Bought for my wife 15 years ago and until this year was for the most part driven every weekend just out getting groceries, vodka runs was never worried about getting dirty. Have always been a drive them don’t hide them. With a bit of free time looking to clean it up and fix some of the minor things. Did a valve job 10 years ago and rebuilt transmission 2 years ago runs nicely. Someone spotted the trunk weather strip on the car and not the deck lid so started with that. Numbers says 66 Sprint and had Cali smog unit which was tossed but what missing or should be corrected. The tire mount has been kicking around for years but don’t see where it goes. Looks like a five year old applied the sealant on the inner door skin, carburetor is not correct. Any direction greatly appreciated
