Anyone (and this is a reach) have any pics from the 1984 Car Craft Magazine Street Car Nationals in Springfield IL June 22nd-24th? I'm just trying to do a little history on my car and I am very curious what it looked like when the previous owner had it. I know the odds are slim to none that it ended up in someone's pictures, but it was registered for the event. Or... Any ideas besides your basic Google or Altavista kind of search engine?

Just in case:
Lime Gold
1968 Fastback
Black C stripe

Thanks,
Doug

Sorry, I was thinking "stangnet" and all...

1968 Mustang

Black C stripe
May have had a large air cleaner hole through the hood (that's how the hood was when I got it early '90's)

Thanks for taken the time!

I found two modded 67 Fasbacks, and a modded 68 Coupe.

And, ALOT of great memories, but nothing that matched your description.

Sorry, but a great try.

Thanks for going through them and giving it a shot. I just thought it'd be kinda cool to see it before I owned it.

I will check my pictures also.
I can also check the magazine and see if Car Craft posted pictures.

I thought about the magazine but none of my friends have an '84 Car Craft from around that time and I thought the odds would be real slim. But thanks for looking into it for me.

I saw that, but I figured the odds of a pretty much plain looking car making it in the background somewhere would be kind of slim. It would have stock paint etc. Not much for a magazine photo.
