I have an 89 mustang gt 5.0 HO. It’s always ran good up until about a week ago the oil pressure started reading low. It isn’t red lined. It’s throwing me for a loop. When I’m driving or in an idle it’s mostly at the bottom line but it tries to jump up constantly. I noticed today that I actually had oil being pushed out of the drain plugs themselves. I ordered a new oil pump and filter for it. Will this fix my problem?
