Engine 1990 mustang GT no signal to fuel pump and not pulsing injectors

Ok I figured something out I put everything back together from testing the wiring and I put the old map sensor back on after I bent the pins a little to make a better connection I no longer have the map code22. It now runs when the car is warm!

New problem I now have a code 41 c hego (ho2s) sensor signal out of range/ always lean or No Ho2s switching detected

Could this just be because the car was over fueling before and maybe got the sensor dirty? What should I look at first?

LOL

HTF do you go through all of this, swap "The Chip" from one EEC to the next and never think to mention it???

Now the obvious question: Do you know what the chip does and what it is for?

Chips are there to tune outside of the parameters of what the ECU can handle. Some of them are really good and some outright should never of been purchased like Bama chips. Superchips were meh. Do you know what kind/brand it is? If not take a picture of it and post it up.

They can go bad like anything g else so it could be an issue. The question Noobz asked is a huge one so if you know or can contact the previous owner and ask it would be really beneficial. It could have non-OEM parts that need the chip to function or it just could have been installed to “optimize” the factory tune.

I am not home right now but I believe its a hyper tech chip

looks like this

Some 'chips' are used to keep the CEL from turning on cause emissions stuff removed, some are used to attempt to correct issues caused by mismatched parts or the owner just can't fix an problem and keyboard mechanics always say 'it needs a tune'
Some want to maximize the combination of parts they are using for racing.

I’m surprised you are not getting a Code 15 as most chips set that code. I’d pull it and see what happens. Also, most chips utilize a base timing of 10 degrees.

If it does [not] possess a bank of tunes created by an actual tuner specifically for [that] car, it's garbage.

I don't recall any of the "Jet Chips" or any other off-the-shelf, buy and install chips that were [programmable].
