Hey guys I'm at my wits end with rewiring this car. Please help. I have no idea how this wire job had lasted as long as it has. Pulled the interior out to do a interior swap as well as replace the capacitors in the computer. (One had a broke leg.) Tis is what happens when you use (j3?) ports I assume. Okay. So. After I pulled the carpet up I noticed bad things. Two welding blow through holes in the floor pan. Random plate welded to floor pan brace (seat track mod maybe?) Botched wiring jobs. Etc. And my fuel pump is still on a toggle switch. I need help with two specific things. My brake lights don't work now and I want to get the fuel issue right. I'm using a toggle switch because I'm not getting what I need at the relay (been a while not sure whether it was power or ground etc)(will check tomorrow). The issue with my brake lights. Third brake lights don't work. When I mush the brake, the wires to the boo switch start melting and no brake lights. All others work. Turn signals, Hazards, headlights, running lights, etc. I'm at my limit of chasing and tracing after a week. Anything helps. I get off late every night so I'll have late replies.
