1994 Convertible Top Controls???

I purchased a 1994 GT Convertible and dummy me I can not figure out where the button ,control, up/down switch is located .

How do I get the Top to go down and up??

1. pull down the 2 latches on the top near sun-visors

2. engage the e-brake

3. the push the switch located beside the fog lamp switch on your console

welcome to the ver tclub bro.

yeah, it's down by the e-brake handle. gotta make sure the e-brake is pulled up enough that the light in the dash comes on. if the light doesn't come on, then the top won't go up or down

Thanks All, It works , but I had a slight problem.

On one side, the passenger side, I heard a squirt sound and sure enough I saw fluid in that side.. Question, can these piston be reconsructed or only new ,any advice???

i dont know about that, it hasn't done that on mine .......... yet

I don't know on these. I looked into rebuilding the seals on the hydraulic cylinders on my 67, and it wasn't any cheaper than just buying new ones. I doubt Ford took the time and extra energy to design these so they're rebuildable; I would guess you're going to be no more money, and fixed a lot quicker, just to buy a new one.

not quite sure, but i've got 2 spare cylinders off my old top if you might happen to need one?
