Was wanting to ask all the stang folks! Is there any to do's and not to do's when looking to buy one of these cars! i know nothing of these 32v engines! any comments or suggestions guy's and gals. Its' a pretty clean 1996 COBRA convertableW/5 spd.116 k miles, everything works so far that i have checked and leather is 6 out 10. 114k and is unmolested. except for one muffler replacement. top looks to be free of tears and its getting a new set of rubber on all 4 corners. paint is a 7.5 on a scale to 10. and the price is 6400.00 and a tauras 9mm. so about 6750.00 cost for me. will greatly appreciate any thoughts! thx Don hey peeps got it a lil cheaper! 6150.00 and 9mm.

What exactly is it? A Cobra? A Mach 1? What year?

The asking price is 6400 plus a weapon? Ohh, this doesn't sound good at all.

You didn't say anything about the year or model of the mustang. That would be a terrible deal for a 99 v6, but an unheard of deal on a 04 cobra.

BTW, the 32 valve engine only came in the mach 1 and cobra models. The 99-04 GT is a 2v, so it only has 16 valves.

Not tech, poll fail, not enough info... Not the best thread I have ever seen

Here is another thread by the OP that clears up some mystery:
