dont you have to be in 1st gear to get that fast that quick? I cant see how you could shift and still reach that time.

1.789 on motor (100mph traps powerwise)

and 1.70 on 100 shot (low bottle pressure)
with stock suspension other than some sort of red springs....

and about a 4500-4700 rpm launch, WOT.

EDIT: quads removed.

1.78 60' on FMS "b" lowering springs, 245/17 nittos and an otherwise totally stock suspension with 2.73 gears. It just takes practice!

waaaaait a sec....i read your thread title wrong...lol..i didnt notice the 'ft' at the end, i was thinking you meant 0-60mph in less than 2 seconds..which would be hauling ass, and you'd have to stay in 1st gear to reach those speeds because just the act of shifting would take time away from your 0-60. My bad..

Best of 1.63 60' (average 1.65-1.69) in a 1991 LX hatch. Suspensions mods are Lakewood 70/30s front, 50/50s rear, removed front sway bar, MT ET Drags 26x8. The car a is stock 146k mile bottom end with ported E7s and has ran 11.65 @ 115.8 with 3.73s. It is an AOD car and I launch from idle and flash the convertor. I still have stock UCAs, LCAs, no welded axle tubes or torque boxes. I think the Lakewoods are worth their weight in gold.

60 ft...

..some fast cars out there.. Running low 1.90 s . Most of the time, 1.93-1.92sec. 60ft with my 200horsepower -86 GT. Use FMS lowering springs, cutted one turn (rear) , 3.73 ring G. 235/60-15 DRs (15psi C.T) Koni rear D.
Sub frame c, and launch at 3000-3200rpms after a nice burnout. GOOD LUCK !

Pro3i lower control arms
lakewood 50/50's
3.27 gear

front is all stock. No k-member, no springs, no shocks etc...all factory.

Best is a 1.49, I would say average is between 1.59 and 1.69 though.

There's more then just throwing parts at the suspension to truly make it hook... Geometry is VERY important

Almost any of the control arms that eliminate the deflection, drag struts and shocks will work well.

Front and back Lakewoods, upper and lower Southsides, D&D tubular front gets me consistent high 1.5s to low 1.6s on BFG DRs.
