trap times? in 0-60mph?
you mean trap SPEED in 0-60 ft?

if so there is an online calculator that measures how fast you MUST be going in order to reach 0-60' in any given time

if you mean 0-60mph, hell if i know, damn good if i'm at the track though, because i get 0-45 or 48 or somthing in 1.7

1.56 60' all motor with a c4 automatic launching off idle. lakewood 90/10's up front with moroso trick coil springs, adj. u/l control arms, 27x10x15 Hoosier DOT Q.T.P., 4.10 gears w/ spool. 1.53 60' with a 150 shot.

I would say my biggest improvement came from the adj. u/l control arms! This will be my first mod on my 91' when i move to suspension work!

i went a couple of weeks ago and the best i could 60' was a 1.78. i could not get any better than 1.84 after that for some reason. mods are in the sig. everything is stock up front, but the sway bar is gone. i just installed the rear control arms. i have stock springs and worn out shocks on all four corners. i expect to 60' alot better the next time i go with new slicks and a properly prepped track.

WOW, axeman I would have guessed low 1.7s high 1.6s for your car. The 4.30s should get it out of the hole, as well as the slicks and traction devices. I would say new slicks and hard launches and you should be 1.6s or close!

Was hitting 2.0s with SSM lowers, HPM upper, no quads, 3.73s, now quads, stock motor and tonnes of wheel hop.

Best I've done was a 1.80 60ft. with my 26x10.5 ET Streets, SSM lift bars, 3.73's, 4cyl springs in the front. Before I got the ET's, I was running some crappy Firestone Firehawk SS tires pulling 2.05 60ft. times using careful lauches.

i think it had alot to do with track preperation, being early in the year and all. i plan on going back to cecil for the super stallions of the net meeting in the middle of april. there will be plenty of big dogs running, so i'm sure they'll prep the track alot better. that would be great if i could really drop my 60's down and get my first 12 sec pass.

Completely stock suspension, front sway bar removed, still have the stock quad shocks. 26 x 8" M/T ET Drags, a crummy un prepped track surface [everyone complains about it - they never bother to clean or spray track traction compound down].

Best 60' so far is a 1.78 leaving at only about 4000 RPM. Leave at anything higher, even 4500, gets me back into the 1.8s from spinning.

Question. Worn out stock front struts [say struts with 100000 miles on them] seem to loosen up as far as rebound and stuff. Would that be similar to having a 70/30 in there??

Hope to cut some better 60's this season. Going to add some rear control arms [Prolly Summit Racing ones] and air bags. Should I bother with 90/10s up front?

I am runing consistent low 1.90 sixty foots with stock rear upper arms, a set of boxed stock lower arms, an old set of Lakewood traction bars, and all 1980 or so stock wore out rubber bushings. This is with a 4.10 SVO traction lock in a 7.5 in rear. On BFG Drag Radials. No front swaybar, but the rear is installed. No quad shocks, and the the regular rear shocks are some replacement whatevers that came on the car 7 years ago.

The key seemed to be the Lakewood bars and the drag radials. It wheelhopped badly without them, and the DR's took about 3 tenths off the sixty foots.

most of the time yes. it seemed like i couldn't launch more than 4000 or i spun. i even had a 2.0x one time. WTF! left lane sucked more than the right, and i kept getting stuck in the left most of the time.

i cut a perfect light against a dragster! my first ever perfect light.

1.9's, stock suspension with swaybar removed and KYB struts/shocks on Nitto's but I've gotten that with regular tires. I am a little rusty since last season.

removed sway bar, relocated battery, eibach drag springs, steeda upper and lower control armss, lakewood 70/30 struts and 50/50 shocks, 3500 stall(aod), 3.73s, subframes, and nitto drag radials(275/50/15)...1.67 launching at 1500rpm and letting the converter flash to 3500rpm and a best time of 12.13 at 112.2

I ran a best 60' of 1.72 with well heated 275/50/15 drag radials and otherwise stock suspension. I have ordered and am waiting to install Eibach drag springs and 90/10 fronts struts and 50/50 rear drag shocks. With the motor in my sig do you think I can drop my 60' with the spring and shock install to the 1.60 or 1.50 range? Thanks for the guesses

Best of 1.63 60' (average 1.65-1.69) in a 1991 LX hatch. Suspensions mods are Lakewood 70/30s front, 50/50s rear, removed front sway bar, MT ET Drags 26x8. The car a is stock 146k mile bottom end with ported E7s and has ran 11.65 @ 115.8 with 3.73s. It is an AOD car and I launch from idle and flash the convertor. I still have stock UCAs, LCAs, no welded axle tubes or torque boxes. I think the Lakewoods are worth their weight in gold.

well I think I get the prize for the worst yet on this thread. The last time I ran was on the last day the track was open last year.I have a 3500 lb vert with stock suspention sway bar still attatched and at the time of the run I had the factory aod, DR, 373 gears.I believe the only thing I had going for me was that I got a break on unsprong weight because we swaped out the fronts only to the skinnies.I couldn't bring the rpms up past 1200 because I was pushing the front over the trip beam and I didn't have a stall so there wasn't much I could do anyways. My best is 2.207 60' and nearly 118 trap speed.I hope with new art/car trans flashing around 3g should put me at 1.8 or so.This time that dam sway bar is coming off and all the tires are going on, the wick is going to kill and timing to 14*and will see what the hell happens this time maybe it will come apart at the seams and than I don't have to worry about it anymore!!hehe

So what do ya think she'll run this time any gueses?
