alright cool because i have a vortech pump pushing out 255 lph and my car (blown 99 Gt) hasn't been tuned yet. i didn't want to get to the dyno and not have a big enough pump.

You have to watch the 255 rating. It drops severely at higher pressure as the Cobra pumps do not most drop to 160/180. I had to switch to the 03 Cobra tank and 2 pumps in my 99 to keep it safe at the power I wanted. (not using the boostapump ofcourse)

I agree 100% and went with the same setup on my old vortech blown 00GT.

no, it just ups the voltage to the pumps and over-drives them. they supposedly have an un-tapped capacity, but it must wear them out quicker, dunno but I know I need one for my 04, I'm at 98% capacity and can't add more power until I do the BAP.
