What have I done so wrong other than give you all an oportunity to see what Ford can do when they go after the exotic vehicle market!

As for Mr. Shelby I would presume he is a little taken aback and giggly at the success his product is demanding.

Sounds like you have a "little" issue to deal with.

Remember your replying to threads on products you cant afford so just maybe you need to get a life!

Then it turns out MAYBE HE CAN AFFORD IT!

So your respond, "Research it before you pop off at the mouth!
If you can find one at list let me know cause Ill buy it too and sell it again for $250,000"

Maybe you should research before you pop off. Seems you were running your mouth in a condesending fashion without having your facts straight. And instead of offering some sort of olive branch, you lecture him about POPPING OFF! I guess as an internet manager, customer service and courtesy are not high up on your list of priorities.

Key word here is "MAYBE" do you really think an individule that is of the caliber to purchase a 250,000 vehicle would post such rehtoric and pointless bets as

"ok smart guy,, lets make a bet,,,, ill even pay to fly you to my town,,, if you think i cant afford the ferrari,, put your money where your mouth is,,,, and if i can show you that i can ,,, cash by the way,,,,,,, then you have to give me the gt at the proper retail..... so lets go,,, would you like to take the bet,,,, i will pay list for the gt if you lose big mouth "

My response was tame and factual compared to the original post!

As far as an olive branch goes there was no real intrest in the purchase just a personal attack!

As for courtesy I thank you for your analysis of my responses.

As far as CSI I rank at the top and have been in the business for over 24 yrs.

Maybe the worst post I have read in about 3 years of being a member at stangnet. IMO, if you have 150 to throw at a ride, you likely have the $250K, unless you are a mortgaged to the teeth poser. Many people can afford a car like that. Your tone is quite typical of todays know it all car sales person. If you were smart, you could of politely advertised the thing, offered stangnet members some insight into the car, etc.

I apologize for the poor tone of the thread all I wanted to do is politley let you all know that the vehicles are in and available.

Also just wanted to polietly let you know what the market is dictating for price.(let's face it it is exciting)

I agree The thread has turned into an ugly thing.

Personally attacking the messenger of exciting news is typical of todays know it all forum posters.

I too have been a member here for awhile and the majority of the information here is invaluable.

Once again I apologize for any ill feelings, but I feel I have just reacted to some of the ludicris posts to the news I bring you.

With that I bid you all farwell.

Dear Car Saleman

This is "Stangnet".......not "Lets see if I can find a sucker to sell an over priced car to net." There is a classified section that you are more than welcomed to list your GT in....but inot here.

As a salesperson with 24 years of experience, I am really surprised by your demonstrated level of interpersonal skill. I did notice that you primarily sell vehicles over the internet. Perhaps thats a better fit for your skill set than interacting with others in person.

If you really want to participate in the "Stangnet" forums, we welcome you, but I would suggest you change your online name and never..... ever try this crap again.

the dude is a car salesman...sorry if this offends other people here...but he is acting the car salesman role (most anyway)...to me these types of car salesman are below lawyers in the ethics game....he has obviously no morals and couldn't care less that he is coming off as a jackass....NO ONE CARES THAT YOU ARE SELLING A 147,000 CAR FOR 250,000!! GOOD FOR YOU!! Of cousre some idiot will buy it like the idiots who pay 31,000+ for a base model 2005 mustang GT...no please this stupid thread

first you come on this thread and make like you are giving something really special,,, selling something 100 or more over list is really nothing to be proud of,next you insult everyone for taking proper pot shots at you, and finally , you show the sleaze you are by shooting off at the mouth,, other than that we all love you a lot

Shelby has nothing to do with the Ford GT at all... Ford and Saleen Special Vehicles build the car.

As for asking 100k over sticker for it, I don't think it is worth it either... Especially when Ford doesn't see any of the 100k, just the dealer. Give it time, I think you will see this time next year dealers willing to sell at sticker, IMO.

Also, the Ford GT is only a 2 year run, so there wil be no 2007 Ford GT.

its this simple,, at the end of the day, a couple of years from now,, its still a ford,,, the ferrari will have substantially more resale value as it always does ,, for the same money,, or even less,,, ,,, when leno bought his,, he demanded that it be sold to him at list,, which it was,,, and rightfully so....... hyping something that much over list,, especially a ford no less,,, proves there is a sucker born every minute,,, hopefully most of the people wont be included in this silly group,.
