Hi everyone...

Does anyone know if there will be a SVT Mustang for 2005? I thought I heard some rumors that there will be no SVT for 2005. SVT will return in 2006.

Please confirm,

Thanks...

Hey thanks for the reply. HAHA. I guess in a good way, I won't be spending the extra money for the supercharger.

I guess I will either have to consider the 2004 SVT convertible or get the looks of the 2005 GT Premium perhaps?

Decision decision decisions..

Thanks again..

Hey is there any word on what kind of power the svt will bring. my guess is 400-450 so it can compete with the vet.

Anyone find out if the GT is going to have the forged internals or the cast? Just curious if a supercharger would be worth putting on a GT or should just wait on the Cobra

I'd bet on cast. Though I'm sure people will complain. It's likely they got them as low priced as possible.

The 440 hp version so far is only the GT-R. No figures other than a rumored 500 have been released about the next cobra.

I heard that there might not be an SVT cobra. Instead there will be shelbys-GT305 & GT500. I like that idea better.

Quote from Ford's Website...

When the last of the 2003's are gone, this special offer is gone. Far fewer SVT Mustang Cobras were produced for 2004, and SVT will not offer 2005 or 2006 model-year Cobras, so now is the time to act.
