2008 "Bay Area Stampede" cruise pics 6/1/08

Day 2 of a long cruising weekend. This one was in the San Francisco bay area which is about an hour from Sacramento where I live. It was a fun cruise, with a great turnout, alot of nice cars, & cool people... I think at one point we had a total of 36 Cars. StreakMatt & myself were the only people who made the long trek out from Sacramento, but it was well worth it.....

Some of the pics were taken with my Nikon, & others with the point & shoot...Im still having problems getting the pics to come out right with the Nikon D40 SLR...I always overexpose them....

Thanks guys. if there is 1 good thing about Cali its cool places to cruise, beautiful scenery, nice weather, & nice cars.

That SVO was really clean & the Cobra R was nice, but it was a clone.

On a side note, my buddy Matt & I were riding in his Fox down in Mexico last night, & he took down a brand new C6 Z06 owner by surprise by walking his car 3 times in a row....His fox is no joke, because he beat it by a car twice & a 1/2 a car on the last run...The dude was one of those super cocky types too. Said he wanted to give us a head start LOL!!!

and was that guy with the turbo 4v from cali? I have seen cars with turbos on them before and have wunderd how those guys pass smog out here.

Yup, he's from Antioch. Prolly has the smog hookup. If u have that kind of money to spend on a car, smog usually isnt an issue. His car is a big bore stroker, Sullivan manifold, fuel cell, Hellion turbo, & 18X12" CCW's....650rwhp @ like 7-8 lbs of boost....

One of these days iam gona need a smog hookup with the route iam going with my stang. I just hope i will be able to find one.

**** dude! I keep missing out on these meets. I'm from the east bay and I'm up in Sac all the time... You gotta hit me up or something next time something's going on! I'll be up in Sac from tomorrow to Sunday.
