The G8 is closer to a Camaro than it is to a BMW 5 series.

how do you figure? Because it uses a generic GM frame? That's quite common among many automakers. Never said it was closer to anything. Only referring to the class and potential market. This car, again, was never designed to compete with a camaro, regardless of what GM similarities it shares. So once again, it needs to be compared with the cars that it is competing against. Not 2 door muscle cars.

I agree with most of this. However, I think many people have taken the g8 out of context. This is not a 2 door muscle car. It needs to be compared to the Charger, Mercedes, BMW and the other cars that are in it's class.

I agree, if you don't like the car, then you don't like it. But it shouldn't be compared to muscle/sport cars.

I will go drive the L76 car, and I will write a review on this car as I did on the charger srt8 by the end of the week.

I understand the G8 is a sports/luxury car, but, but as i mentioned, same platform as the camero. I will agree the G8 looks clean, has some pretty smooth/sharp edges in a good way, but when i see this car, and picture a camero the same size, its kinda scary thinking that its pretty much the same size.

Tomorrow, I should have a review. I'll try to keep it as objective as possible, though car opinions are fairly subjective in nature.
