What type of cleaner do you recommend for these 18" polished aluminum wheels? I've only handwashed with a mild car wash and the wheels are hazy. I'm reluctant to use anything harsh until I better understand what the film is and how best to remove it and keep them looking like new.
I have the Performance Package black painted wheels, and I use a Megiers Power Cone to polish them. You are also doing the smart thing and using only a mild soap to clean the wheels
Use a QUALITY metal polish on the wheels and they should come out looking awesome. Just take your time, and keep the RPM's low. Putting on a wax or wheel sealant when completely done will help to keep the finish long lasting too.
