2013 muustang was given a facelift to resemble the gt500 LED tail lights, and more. facebook has all the photos on the ford mustang page. just type in ford mustang in the search and itll be on the top and in the 2013 mustang album. if anyone doesnt have a facebook ill post a few pics so you can see.

I still want my 4.6 cali special more than the 2013. my project on it isnt even close to be done. so im not even thinking of a new car until its completely finished

I'm not a fan of the new grille. It looks like it got in a fist fight and it's all swollen.

LOL, agreed!

I like the painted rocker panels, not fussy about the tail lights, do like the headlights, love the ventilated hood, like that Brembos will be available for the auto, sad that the 3.73s are not available on with the auto.

At the moment, I like the 2012 better in the looks department.

Ford has blown it this time. Now the front looks like a Dodge truck just like the Shelby's. l will not be in any hurry to sell my 2010 GT.

everyone has to admit its a good attempt to up the looks. I wasnt a fan of the tail lights. But I like the new style. they should of kept the v6 hood the same. the only way you can distinguish them from one another is badging now. and the gt500 has quad exhaust. But I did do the Live chat on facebook earlier. there will be a california special package with all new styled rims. was a fan of the 2011-12 CS rims.

Glad I got one in 2011. I think that face-lift may have been a mistake. It's OK, but it seems just a little off the mark. Not a fan of those taillights, and I like the 2011-12 cowl induction style hood better.

I wonder if making the GTs and base V6s look like the GT500 will upset the GT500 buyers.

Wow...... very sublte changes, but those taillights have officially been perfected. They went from very flat and normal/retro looking in 05-09, to being modernized the best way possible.
But im confused the way the lights light up. When you press the break do the interior squares light up, or just the outlines, or is the interior just for the turn signal?

The front end looks very aggressive, reminds me of a Charger how the grille and lights lean forward and sort of have a mean eye-brow look. It's angry. The front diffusor is a parking hazard but makes it look like a race car.

Interior looks very nice... the whole car has more of a european feel, I guess because they always come up with the coolest body designs first (audi, mercedes, etc)... LED's, body lines, etc

If you think about it some people wont know what is what. they may think the gt500 is a standard GT. could ultimately make it a sleeper if someone isnt familiar with it. If you saw me on the road with my 08 gt/cs and I had a ducktail spoiler with a stripe going across the back of it would you know what it is? Answer: Retro styling from the 68' cali special. Only mustang enthusiast will know wht it is or those ford fans who just know. and even with the 2013 cali special. im hoping they put the gt500 heat extractor hood on it. for some retro touch. anyone agree? I may write to ford and make it a suggestion.
