I have had my Ecoboost mustang for 9 months now in the last 3 month I have burned out 2 spark plugs. My car is still under warranty so I took it in and they yelled at me bc they said it went out going 120 and next time they won't fix it for free. I know there is more going on then it going out by speed. Anyone else have this problem or heard of anyone having this problem? What would be causing this?

The first questions I would ask are:
- Were the two spark plugs from the same cylinder?
- Have you done anything to it (i.e. tune)?

Also, I would post questions like this on the S550 forum. I suspect that gets a little more traffic than this one.

@Noobz347 @Davedacarpainter

Do you guys mind moving this to the S550 forum? Thanks in advance.

I took it to dealership and they are still saying it has to do with speed bc they still can't figure it out. I'm taking it to a different dealership to hopefully find out what is going on with it. I did not tune or do anything to the car. She is still stock as can be. That's why I can't figure out why she's messing up.

Did they both happen at 120mph?

They are right about not covering it because that sort of driving could be considered abuse especially if you are pinned WOT at triple digit speeds.

everything is abuse as long as the car is in warranty, they don't want to fix it even if they can.
