Not necessarily but it will look better. A friend of mine has 20s on his 06 mustang and even though it's not lowered, it still looks good.

Yeah, I didn't lower mine, and with a 35 series tire, the stance is nice, I can't complain

Granted, most lowering kits lower the rear more than the front to level the car. I just leveled mine with audio equipment and nitrous bottles, so it sits pretty flat

Yes, lower it. The one above, and yours, will look like a 4x4.. unless that doesn't bother you.. then it's fine... because really, it's your car and who cares about what others think! good luck!

No need to lower. Just get running boards.

Agree, it's your choice. I run so much audio gear, my car would have a stance like a mini truck if I lowered it, the rear would be lower than the front. And I can take pictures of the fenderwell, unless we consider ANY gap between tire and fender a "4x4" look, it definitely isn't 4x4...

You really should lower it. We have 20" saleen dark horses and dropped it 1.5" all the way around with an FR3 kit. It looked "ok" with a low profile tire, but looks awesome with the drop.
