Is that how much it would cost for me to get my steeda pulleys installed or does my mechanic not know what the hell he's talking about? What should this install really cost. No i can't do it myself cause i have no tools here.

kinda BS it's an ez install (was for me at least). But you do want someone who knows what they are doing and how to take it off and put it on correctly w/out stripping the inner crank threads by putting the puller in the threaded shaft and messing up the threads.

That does seem a bit steep. If I recall correctly, I paid around $180 at the local Ford dealership to have mine put on the GT.

that's absolutely terrible....... I just can't see that taking a mechanic more than 30-45 mins!?!?!?

It takes a $15 dollar tool and a little reading on the install.... I almost messed up my crank threads...... if you search using my username....you'll see what not to do

it's really very easy bro!

1.5 hours MAX for that install at $80 an hour would be $120. I wouldn't pay any more than that.

If you were near me, I'd let you do it yourself in my garage. It should take you no more than 2 hrs. I did mine myself and made a thread about it on here.
