Ray Stenerson has rented Woodburn Dragstrip for the second anual R+R invitational on Saturday September 9, 2006 from 9am to 5pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. The fee is $125.00 for a full day of unlimited passes. This is a great opportunity to come down and make 30+ passes in one day on a well prepped track. No advance reservation is required, just show up and race. If you have any questions call Ray at 360-600-9415. This is a non profit race the entry fee covers track rental and track prep.

$125 per car or owner? NHRA rules apply or can the convertible crowd have fun too?

They usually tech pretty light but you cant count on them overlooking stuff. You should have seen how fast they ran up to Ray to ask if he was licensed after his 8.70 pass

They charge per car- they dont seem to care who is driving. There are no wrist bands on these play days.

As said above, its free to come watch! See you all there!

Lets do it. I know the Scort would be at a huge disadvantage but I am still banking on you not showing up although if you dont, everyone will know your skeered of the 'scort I can even provide directions on how to get to the track if you need 'em

So, seriously- you gonna be there or not?

Maybe, Saterdays are more my speed. Just depends if Im motivated enough to fill the NOS, change the oil, trans fluid, plugs, fuel filter and battery. Oh, and mount the Drag Radials and install the AEM wide band. Maybe even wash her. Gotta dig it out of the garage first i guess. Kinda burnt out on that car, been lookin at bikes. We will see. L8.
