very nice...what is giving it over 400rwhp tq?

324 cubes is what is giving it that much torque. The GT's are more of a torque producing engine than the Cobra (mainly due to the # of valves and it's relation to port velocity, etc.) The guy that owns the car said he can bust the rubber loose at 50mph...... not bad for N/A

Those are some amazing numbers. I hope to get a few more ponies out of my car but I don't see the money coming anytime soon for all those goodies.

Great job with the car!

What would this combo make with the intake/heads but keeping the bottom end stock?

i know the 4.6 can be stroked to 5.4 but they are stroking 5.4's to 5.8's somewhere i wonder what one of those would do with stage 3 plus pi heads some aweosme cams, intake and all the goodies?

A customer of ours has made this much so far, and they're still tuning. Car has a 324" with SVO heads and intake, and SHM 2730 cams (.495/230). He has Mac longtubes and 2.5" exhaust, 93 octane pump gas. 10.5:1 c/r and undercammed...... we want him to add our stage2 cams . Just an FYI. It was done at ModularMadness in SC. I'll post dyno sheet if I get one faxed to me. Heads flow ~210@.500 (I), 190@.500 (E). I'd love to see what this would do with a more aggressive head/cam package

I wonder how that setup would do with the VT Stage 2 heads and my VT Stage 2 cams.. hhmmmm...

Hey VT, can you guys get me some info on this 324.. and if i'm able to run it with the your Stage 2 2V heads.. Thanks guys!

haha call them...it will work nicely with your heads/cams...i almost ordered one of these but decided to just stay at stock cubes on this car....but next project if its a 2V will definately have a similar setup.

Well, I still have stock heads.. but do you think it would really work that well with the stock PI heads?

I figured i'd have to get the Stage 2's or something

I'm a n00b when it comes to this stuff sometimes

lol I know.. thats what I was thinking lol

I wonder if the VT "race" heads would be too much for the stage 2 cams and a DD car

depends on what you want to spend....i decided against the BB/stroker simply because my car is just a cruiser and didn't need the extra 2k out of pocket...with that money i bought cams/injectors/fuel pump/smaller blower pulley etc etc...but if i was building a coupe for track fun no doubt i would have spent the extra cash.

true true.. it'd be a while before I could do this anyways.. I just think it'd be fun to have it as a street/track car

You need to buy a new shortblock for the kit? Can't just get a stroker kit added to the stock block, or is this a big bored aluminium block as well?

Well if my newest problem is a spun bearing, I am just gonna park the car and save for the big bore. I am tired of playing around.
