# 3 Spark plug.

I have just changed all the plugs on my 96GT but number 3. The plug wrench will not go over the spark plug in #3.cylinder. Am I missing something? Is a special tool required? Thanks Bob

no its the same as all teh other plugs. what kind of socket are you using?

i had the same problem, but not on my car, it was on the motor i took my heads off. (that are now ported & polished) i had to beat the socket on the plug to get it out, there was alot of crud down there, if i remember right i was the driver side second one from the front

it could have coolant that rusted in there. wait until teh motor is stone cold and try to spray some pb blaster in there to loosen things up.
