I have a cruiser that I'd like to change the carb on. It's a 2 barrel and I just prefer to keep the intake the same and just change the carb. Any recommendations ? By the way, that brings up another question. What is TOO MUCH carb for 2 barrel 302 ? I have seen postings and people referred to that and I was just wondering what that mean or what the effects of having too much carburetor would have on the engine...

So you want an upgrade two barrel carburetor? You can get 500cfm 2 bbls, but I doubt there would be much gain on a stock manifold. A 500 cfm 4 bbl would be about right for a stock 302 cruiser.

Too much carb will result in poor throttle response and bad economy at lower rpms(most common).
