im swapin in a new 5.0 are the engine mounts and all the same? on the out side i know it is a 50 ounce imbalance vers a 28ounce. thanks

Yep, the same mounting points. I'm sure you know this already, but don't forget to plug the dipstick hole in the lower left of the block if you are going to use an earlier style timing cover dipstick location. If you do use the early style mechanical fuel pump (also with the vintage timing cover), you will need to add a vintage style fuel pump eccentric to the timing chain end of your camshaft and get a proper depth timing chain sprocket set. There are other changes you'll need, I'm sure someone will chime in. But, the mounting points are the same...
