4 barrel CC heads & port plates. Hardened guides & seats. Screw in studs. Guide plates. Crane aluminum rockers. Comp cam (hydraulic). Magnum push rod tubes. Melling lifters & high volume oil pump. Holley 750 double pumper. Edelbrock torker single plane intake Aluminum SVO valve covers. New rings & bearings. 2 bolt main. bored .030 with forged TRW pistons. Crank is .010 .010. Cam is .540 .560 300 305, gear drive. 10.2 to 1 compression. How would this be for a street engine, and any HP guesses?

Thanks,
Jim

I like.
IMO the double pump is probably overkill.
I would use the 750 vacuum Holley and super tune it.
I say that for a few reasons:
The 71-2-3 cars are heavier...
You seem to be using an auto tranny from your sig...
3.70 is not a whole lot of gear in this scheme of things...
Fuel prices...
4v heads are easy to over-carb...

that cam wont be a very happy steet cam. id look for a 280 -290 grind unless it dont bother you to sit there and jerk like crazy at a stop light. other than rough streetability thats gonna be a wild engine

Sounds like a killer setup. I agree w/ ashford, I rode in a friends street rod with a similar cam, and the car just shook at idle. It didn't bother me much, but if you drive it a lot, it could be a little rough. I don't think there would be too much of a HP difference, either.

That would be a killer setup. When you get whatever engine you do get, post the specs.
