I have just completed purchasing and installing new 18x10 and 18x9 tires and rims on my cobra and now a mechanic friend and I are going to tackle the install of a new 373 Ford Racing gear.

The cobra currently only has 2500 miles on it and I am wondering from you all if I can reuse internal parts to do this gear swap???? If so, what do you all recommend that I purchase new other than the obvious fluid and gears.???

Just wanting to insure that I know what I need and don't need from this forums expertise.

if its only got 2,500 miles I'd just get a pinion bearing & shims, the old carrier bearings will be fine. Get a posi rebuild kit, or just add shins to the stock posi. factory posi is pretty loose, pack it with shims and it'll be super tight
