Used to be from LFalls area,
spent many fun hours in the old Funhouse years back ! )

Anyway - your efi pump probly puts out about 39 psi or a tad
more, when for a carb you don't want, if I recall, over about 7 psi.

With that year of block, you should have a mechanical pump -
just disable the electric pump and run the line thru a good hi perf
mechanical pump. I think it should suck right thru the electric
pump in the tank. If not, just pull it out and devise a pickup tube
to replace it.

Pretty high comp ratio for street, even with a longer duration
cam.

For trans, are you sure you don't want to stick with an auto OD?
A good one for street is a later model 4R70W which has a little
wider gear ratio spread than an AOD, while not getting too wide,
and with very few tweaks will hold all kinds of torque and hp.
Lots of them available that bolt up to a Windsor block from
98-up V6 Mustangs. Those only have 1 less direct clutch plate
than a V8 trans, and that can be added easily.

Now I've got a built 4R waiting to go in. With that trans,
overall low gear with 3.55's is the same as an AOD with 4.10's,
but you still have much better gears for the road.

my LSC or my restomod 70 Mustang convert.

i wouldnt run a mechanical pump, get a holley blue pump that comes with a regulator and dont look back.

Ive read somewhere about pan problems or something having clearance problems puttin 351's into tbirds
