Has anyone one here bought an alternator from these guys? I am looking at their prices and they are very reasonable. Just want to know if anyone has had a good or bad experience with them.

Thanks guys.

Their web site is here http://3gperformance.com/index

They also sell on ebay.

I bought one of the polished 130 amps from him off of ebay for 129.00 plus I bought a 87-93 wiring kit to use my old 130 on my 92. I haven't actually ran it yet but I'm very happy with the finish on the polished unit, it looks great. Shipping took a while as I guess he was behind on the polished units He was very quick to answer emails and kept me up to date. It was worth the extra wait for the finished product if your looking for a polished unit. So my opinion is expect a possible delay if he's backed up, but be assured you'll get your product. He seems to be a straight foward guy.

What does the front and back look like? He said he paints the front and back. How good does it look? The rest of my engine is polished and I do not want a cheap polished piece making it look cheezy.

Any pics?

I bought the PA Performance 170A 3G alternator and premium wire upgrade and it has worked flawlessly for over a year so far.

It by no means looks "cheezy" To be honest it took me a while to figure out the front wasn't polished until i saw a bit of orange peal to it. I thought he may have powdercoated around the holes. He does a very nice job with the appearance. my cheap camera by no means allows the true shine to come out on the alternator or my motor, but you can see pics of mine here. It looks better in person. Everything on the topside is polished, polished ceramic coated, or chrome for a comparison.
