4.10's are in----

If you have drag radials, then powershift the 1-2 as well. Every tenth you cut off your shifting time you'll cut off the ET. It doesn't sound like much, but it adds up and the timeslips will show it.

Drop some weight too. Pull out the spare, back seats, and the front swaybar. The swaybar is a big one too, you'll get a much better launch without it.

The biggest trouble I had with 4.10s at the track were major tire slippage on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. I could easily overcome traction with stock goodyears and 4.10s if I powershifted. I eventually found that my best times with stock tires were to skip on the power shift but shift as quickly as possible with some lift throttle. This wasn't optimal, obviously, so I just went ahead and got some Nitto DRs. These tires practically eliminated the 1-2 and 2-3 slippage, and I haven't even maximized their potential yet. I need to learn how to do a better burnout (2nd gear) and lower the tire pressure to 15 (I think I kept mine at around 22 psi.) Regardless, I still dropped .3 seconds off my best time at the same track pre-Nittos. Sticky tires rock!

tell me about it with the mods in my sig i ran a 14.20 i added the bfg drag radials and i hit 13.90s....Now i wanna see what my eaton, moser 31 splines and 4.10s will do!
