Wow! They made the car feel so fast, no more dogging between gears, and no more slow responsiveness/ waiting on the rpm's to get to where they need to be.

Greatest thing ive ever done to the car, just saying.

Now that im going sc'd im keeping my 3.73s, but before when I wanted to stay n/a I was going to go with 4.10s and considered 4.30s. The thing that I really did not like about them though is how 4th gear would run out around 108mph. Thats not fun. If I had a n/a 4v it would get 4.30s and id never look back.

well since this car will be running stage 2 cams soon we will be revving it to 6500ish+ so we will have plenty of room. i can do 120 with 4:56's, 26" tires, at 7000rpms in 4th with my 2v

And yea i dont really have any sticky tires yet, but what im really going for is to see if i can drive it good enough to get it into 13.8ish around 103-104 on street tires. If i could pull that off i would feel really good, and in about 2 months the car is going to have stage 2 cams, and rev limiter is going to get moved up to 6500, combine that with 4.30's, sticky tires maybe some longtubes and some suspension im looking for 13 flat.

I doubt you'll see 104mph before cams. None the less, it's going to be a blast to drive. You'll find that rolling second gear burnouts are the greatest thing since sliced bread!

i figured 104 is a little high, but on 26 inch m/t i did 13.8 at 99 being gentle because of daily driver, now i have 4.30's i dont think 102 is unattainable atleast, but yea

rolling burnouts in 2nd FTW!!!! chirping 4th FTW!!!!!

Congrats

Gears make our cars so much more fun...though I'm still trying to decide between 4.30s and 4.56s on mine since 3.55s just aren't cuttin it anymore esp with my cams.

Thanks
Well if your talking about the mach in your sig, dont hold me to this but arent N/a 4v 68-7k rpm motors? If so id say with cams you might want a 4.56, my buddy shifts at 7200 in his gt with cams and 4.56 its a deadly combination.

That's sweet, as it is with my cams, it's basically a rocket past 3000 rpms, but I can tell the stock intake is holding it back in the higher rpms. After I get it ported, plus the addition of gears, the car should be right where I want it.

Anywho, enjoy your car.
