Would these numbers Change if i shaved the heads?

New Camshafts will help you, but that wont change the sizes of the intake and exhaust ports. Maybe if you have your heads ported and polished you would out flow newer heads. But in my opionion if you were to do all that, might as well have P&P ported and polished and thrown on there. Then with some cams, would make some good power.

there was an article in 5.0 magazine about this. if you go and remove the emissions blocker next to the intake valve, port the chambers, and put PI intake valves in along with the PI cams then yes you could theoretically outflow PI heads. however ported PI heads will easily outflow NPI heads. the reason that they did so much work with the NPI heads is incase you dont want the CI increase when you do the PI headswap.

Right there is the Flow chart saying that a port an polished NPI head with .550 lift out flows the PI heads ported and polished. What I wanna know is what all is need to changed the Cams.....Anyone got a used set up PI heads to sale? thanks

to change the cams if i remember right you need cam cover gaskets, new cam bolts, new timing chains(not required but a good idea), front cover gasket, RTV. thats all i can think of off the top of my head. also a good dyno tune after would be a good idea.
