Its back up for sale!!!! One of 13 4 Eyed Saleen Verts ever made....Two were made in 85 and eleven in 86. If memory servers me correctly, this is the only one not owned by Stu and two of his buddies (total of 9). The remaining three are M.I.A.!! Wish I was made of money, so it could find a good home and be restored to all her glory.....of course its not white, so I will have to pass

Scott,
Your into Red Saleens......what do you think!!

I have to join Motley Crue at a warehouse full of cocaine first before paying even the starting bid! It may be rare but, in this case rarity doesn't mean dollars. If it was worth the money I believe Stu would have bought it already.

Agreed

Cut the asking price in half and there would be a few takers......

If he gets a bid, I will be floored. History I understand, but 20K for that car with the current shape its in I dont understand. These last few Fox Verts besides the white with blue auto, have been 19~21K for a starting bid. These cars are trying to rewrite values for Fox Saleens. I love it too be honest.

Yep, $35K.
5 months and $15k later it returns! LOL

Still a bit steep IMO though considering that Mark at PAS just sold a prestine 86 hatch with extremely low miles for $15,500 on his website.

I remember when it sold the first time. People claimed in this forum that the buyer was legit and the sale of the car was legit. I guess we now know the truth.

Randy!

Don't remind me. I missed on that black car by a day. I guess God didn't want me to have it even though I wanted it. That was a clean car. Damn.

that car is in very poor condition for that price. i love the look of the 86 Saleens dont get me wrong but the 86 Saleen was only a body kit w/ decals & some springs really! didnt have flofit interiors, no brake upgrades like 73mm front calipers & rear discs, were still 4 lug etc... should i stop there LOL!
20K LOL.
