Hi guys I live over in the UK and have just traded up from a 05GT to a 07 427R
I am pretty pleased with the new car and the only mod I have decided to do is the Roush CAI and tune to match.
Guys over here say that its worth 20bhp, do you think thats true?
Will I notice any difference in performance and sound do you think?

I'd highly recommend going with another cai and especially the tune. The Roush tuning is very disappointing compared to other reputable tuners. Check out VMP Tuning Inc, they carry CAIs and programmers with custom tunes for your Roushcharged car. If you did the Xcal3 and a Steeda cai from VMP Tuning you'd see a 20-30 horsepower gain at the wheels.

Thanks guys -for putting doubt in my mind

The Roush CAI is already ordered (so stuck with that) and the firm over here gets the retune emailed over and reflashes the car there and then.

Will see have to see what I think of it . and maybe look into a more aggressive tune and xCal later.

Hi all
Got my Roush CAI and remap done on the 427 and also changed to the smaller pulley as well

Well pleased

What should I be putting out at the fly now? 470?
