5.8L Shortie headers/ clearance issuses

I am doing a 351w in a 79 Capri. What shortie headers has anyone run on a 351w that have no clearance problems with steering shafts or other things? I wanna order them this week, need to make a decision. I am gonna run an AOD so long tubes are out.

i'm pretty sure someone makes aod longtubes that'll work, but i bought MAC for my swap when i did it. MAC have a great fit IMO, had no clearance issues at all. I bought a MAC X pipe to go along with it.

I heard that an AOD/351w/and longtubes are out. Thats why I decided on shorties. But then I heard the steering shaft is the issue.

Look for the Ford motosport shorties that are for the 351w swap for FOxbodies
