Hey. Just wanted to know what it would take to get here. I have a 2001 saleen with a procharger p1-2. Im trying to stay away from nitrous. I know the block will probably have to be replaced, but besides that what else do you guys think?? Just so you know, my mods are the p1-2, 42#'s, anderson powerpipe, cobra tanks and pumps, and the tune. The car made 427rwhp, 426 rwtq. In about 2 weeks, it will be getting bigger fuel rails and feeder line, so I should be able to put a little more timing into the car and get a few more hp out of it. Thanks for your help!!

I'm guesing your running stock heads and cams? 600rwhp is going to need to run allot more air to begin with so cams and some head work. Also the block will be a questionable issue for sure. You'll need a good bullit proof bottom end /rotating assembly. The 42's will probably be about maxed out if not over done at the point of 600rwhp. I'd say something around 50# injectors would definitely get you to a safer fuel. Also what MAF are you running? At least an 80mm or even a 90mm Lightening would help allot too.

Ok, so say I do a cam, built bottom end, some forged rods and pistons, and a little headwork. Upping the boost, and maybe some 60#'s. Would that get me close?? Oh yea, its a 90mm maf. Once again, thanks for your help.

the block will be ok, but the entire rotating assembly has to go. Get a set of modularpowerhouse blower cams, and call 843 208 DRAG, ask for mike and tell him you want some race ported heads. On the stock intake and more boost you'll be there. If you dont have longtubes, you'll need em

1. Definitely a built bottom end to keep everything together.

2. Get a set of Stage III blower cams from either Comp Cams or Crower. Like foxbodysaleen19 said, get a set of P&P heads to help flow more air through the motor and get you to your goal.

3. The 42 lb'ers will help you through lower and mid 500 rwhp numbers. But, to get up to 600 you'll want to go with a set of 60 lb injectors. With those Cobra pumps and tank, just add a boost-a-pump and you'll be good.

4. You'll be pushing your luck around the 600 rwhp mark with the 90mm Lightning MAF. Either upgrade to the SCT BA-2400 or get a MAF extender. The BA-2400 will support up to 700 rwhp. My BA-2800 was overkill and a nightmare to tune!

5. I know nothing about the different head units Pro Charger offers. But, I just took a quick look on their website, and I assume you are referring to the P-1SC-2? Looks like max flow is 1200 cfm. I think you'll be pushing the limits of the blower? Not quite sure, though.
