There was an accessory lamp available for hood or trunk use.

THey do indeed have the socket listed. Ordered the catalog.
I also found sockets at Carlisle today for $5 each that look like they are 3/4" and should snap into the bracket. Pictures later. And I have no bracket to check them (Sold the car today-Yea!)
Will check a bracket at work Monday.
Found the sockets in a bin at one of those vendors that have bins and bins of stuff. He asked me what I was getting it for. WHen I told him, he said I got it right-thats what they were for-he wanted to see if I knew what I was buying. So, it seems so far like I found the socket. Itlooks exactly like the correct part. We will see. Will have to wait for fall Carlisle to get any more if they are correct. Or get them from Grazier's since they have them listed.
What a great resource Stangnet is. THere is no way so much could be accomplished otherwise.
