Does anyone know if the door sash trim from a 67 fastbak will fit a 65 fastback? I'm having a hard time finding any. Several dealers sell them for a 67-68 but I can't find anyone that sells them for a 65.

the stainless piece that holds the rubber for 67 will work but may need to be shortened at the rear by the door. the flat stainless under the trim will not work it has a different
shape than the 65-66. the drip rail stainless is longer for the 67-8 than the 65-6 and will hit at the quarter on a 65-6 so use the 65-6 only there. that part is available

The 65-66 is not reproduced. Try places that offer used stuff, such as Glazier/Nolan, and Perogie.

the door sash dynacorn part#3640xb LH , 3640xa RH. 67 -68 door sash molding
they are $114.95 each they are the same as 65-66 but may need to be shortend
at the rear door post, you can use it without the flat trim that goes under it just paint under it, i hear dynacorn is working on the 65-66 fast back so the parts will be available but it could be a couple of years ,this would be your best bet for now if you cant find the65-66 sash trim .atleast your car will be sealed up and later you can add
the flat trim under it .just contact any dynacorn dealer

For people looking for this 65/6 fastback trim, I would recommend watching ebay. I have sold a set which the original author has described and I have seen others. I would avoid any repops PERIOD. These pieces cost anywhere from 400-600 bucks for a used straight set. Pricey, yes. But WELL worth it. Just my .o2.
