65 mustang, what are some good front shocks

kyb gas-a-just. they really stiffen up your ride

kyb gr-2's less stiff than the regular white kyb's better in my opion for a nice ride.

Edelbrock's!

I think most of the cars here are running KYB's. I've got Edelbrock's on all four corners right now. I like the Edelbrock's over the KYB's, especially on the back. Everyone seems to have a misconception that they are a soft shock. This is not true at all. They are as stiff, if not stiffer then the KYB's while traveling over smooth pavement, but they are valved to allow the suspension to respond quickly to abrupt changes.

They dampen the suspension just as effectively as my KYB's did during hard cornering and threshold braking (dampen the nose dive), but if I hit a small pot hole or a pavement change they allow the suspension to respond much quicker.

I liked the feel of the KYB's, especially up front, but I hated the way they did not allow the rear suspension to respond. To me this was most notable if I encountered a pavement change during hard cornering. If I hit a bump while cornering the rear of my car would bounce or become jumpy, which could lead to dramitic oversteer.

KYB's up front on mine so the front end can "react" somewhat and standards on the rear to keep it a little loose.

i'nm going to go with gabriel striders, they are 3-way adjustable so you can set them firm or soft, also allows you tune them for the best ride and handling on the street or the track. they are availble from mustangs unlimited and mustangs plus i think. they were also original equipment on most shelbys if i remember correctly.
